The US Air Guitar Championships.
Ummmm…. WOW.

In a gorgeous venue that smelled distinctly of Cool Ranch Doritos, Cuervo, sweat, and 100% organic Airness, I witnessed one of the most amazing sights of the modern world… and Wiffiti captured the breadth of the magical hotness.

It’s with an arsenal of awesome and pocket full of irony that I head out to the US Air Guitar Championships in San Francisco this Friday.

In one of the best analogies I’ve heard in a long while, the guys over at GrowYourWiki (Matt Moore, Doug Cornelius, and Stewart Mader) have compared the Location-Based Social Networking model to the age-old, much refined practice of dogs peeing on fire hydrants (uhm, excuse me, “marking their territory”).
