A.) An adorable hybrid icon.
B.) An amazing night of VIP venue-hopping in NYC.

We’re excited to be a part of @msgeconcerts 3-Venue Swarm event this Thursday (5/13) in NYC! Hope you can join us!

The details from the official Media Advisory:

WHAT: A ‘3-VENUE SWARM’ EVENT

WHO: NYC’s social media fans on Facebook, Twitter, and Foursquare™!

WHEN: THURSDAY, MAY 13, 2010 FROM 5-8PM

WHERE:
5-6PM @ BEACON THEATRE (2124 BROADWAY between 74th and 75th)
6-7PM @ RADIO CITY MUSIC HALL (1260 6th AVENUE between 50th and 51st)
7-8PM @ MADISON SQUARE GARDEN (7th AVENUE between 31st and 33rd)

HOW: MSGE Concerts has been posting tweets via their Twitter handle @MSGEconcerts at 5:13pm each day about the event, prizes and VIP entry directions and will continue to post updates throughout the night on the 13th.

The digitally savvy will be asked to “check-in” using Foursquare™ starting on the upper west side at the famed Beacon Theatre from 5-6pm. Fans will then make their way to Radio City Music Hall from 6-7pm and end at Madison Square Garden from 7-8pm.

WHY: Haven’t unlocked that Foursquare™ ‘Swarm’ badge yet? Fans will enjoy complimentary cocktails and ticket giveaways, including VIP tickets to the SOLD OUT Pearl Jam show on May 21 at MSG.

Plus – if you’re a Foursquare™ fanatic and can’t help but check-in everywhere you go, folks that check into all three venues will get their photo on the marquee at Madison Square Garden!

Additionally, the entire cross-channel conversation will be captured and streamed via LocaModa’s place based social media platform. Just tag your tweet #MSGESWARM to be part of the experience and see your messages at the final venue - a big screen at MSG!

In case you didn’t get to one of the 850 bars nationwide that ran our Title Tweets campaign with AT&T and NCAA, here’s a quick content loop that shows the basic concept of the execution (though obviously no longer pulling real-time content). The DOOH version (shown here, streaming relevantly-tagged Twitter messages and txts sent directly to the screens) was also supported by an extensive online component.

LocaModa’s social calendar is filling up fast. Here’s a quick round-up of upcoming highlights:

  • BMA NYC’s The Mobile Dream: The B-to-B Advantage (today, 5/6) will have a LocaModa-fueled screen pulling in relevant txts, tweets, and Foursquare check-ins.
  • We’re wrapping up an event with Nice Systems in conjunction with our friends at Cramer.
  • We’ll be well-represented with a Loca screen at EMC World in Boston early next week (May 10-13).
  • And finally, we’re on board with the MSG Entertainment’s major Foursquare SWARM event in NYC on May 13th. If you’ll be in NYC, register! And if you need a lure other than open bars, we’ll be there (and so will our screens)!
  • The Loca team will also be attending the MediaPost Awards on May 13th!
